🚨 Persisters, please note that the Persistence Core-1 chain is currently down and all on-chain transactions won't be processed.
A bug identified in the Liquid Staking Module fork that went live with the v8 Pacaya upgrade caused a chain halt. This is merely a bug and does not affect any other chain modules or dApps. Funds are SAFU.
The Core-1 devs and other Persistence contributors are on top of this and are working together on implementing a fix.
The chain is expected to restart and return to normalcy soon. Stay tuned for updates on the same.

📢 Persisters, after a successful mainnet upgrade, all on-chain functionalities and modules have returned to normalcy.
To summarize, a bug related to tokenized shares in the Liquid Staking Module (LSM) fork on Persistence led to a panic state, causing the chain to halt last night.
Over the next hours, core-1 devs and other contributors identified the bug and patched it with the mainnet upgrade (see Persistence Proposal 44) that was scheduled for today.
A detailed post-mortem report will be published on the Persistence GitHub for everyone’s reference soon.
The chain upgrade also means that Ledger support is now live on @pStakeFinance .
Going from staked $ATOM ⇒ liquid Staked #stkATOM is now more accessible than ever 🤝

The fix was verified with a successful testnet upgrade earlier today.
Validators are now upgrading the chain on mainnet. This will:
1⃣ Restart the Core-1 chain with the bug fix
2⃣ Add Ledger support for liquid staking on pSTAKE
